Hello Edgewater 5K volunteers,

Thank you all for helping us pull off another great event! We quite literally could not have done it without you, I truly appreciate your willingness to come out and support a community event bright and early on a Sunday morning!

I'm sorry I didn't get more of a chance to check in with everyone yesterday, but the nature of a 2-hour event is that I'm busy for just about the whole thing!

Please let me know if you have any feedback on what went well and what went not so well from your perspective as a volunteer. We're always looking for ways to improve!

You're now in my database of event volunteers. Feel free to ask to be removed from this list at anytime. Mostly you'll hear from me before EdgeFest and before the 5K. I also share other volunteer opportunities in the community from time to time.

If you took any great photos yesterday, please send them my way! We're on a shoestring budget and did not hire a photographer for the event, so I'm crowdsourcing it!

Thank you again for your service!

Best,

Ally Brisbin

Counselor in Training
Camp Kesem

Camp Kesem is a camp for kids dealing with a loved one who has been diagnosed with cancer. I became a counselor in training for this great organization.

Hello!

We are Ryan Condon and Sophie Spears and are the co-coordinators for the counselor in training program at the Northwestern Chapter of Camp Kesem, a student-organized summer camp benefitting children affected by a parent or guardian’s cancer.

We had Ruthie at camp with us in our June session at camp and she performed the required 48 hours of community service your school allows her to fulfill through her involvement at Camp Kesem. We wish her the best this upcoming year!

Camp Kesem Love,
Ryan “Eggo” Condon and Sophie “Butterfly” Spears
